I wish someone could have handed these ideas over to me several years ago. It would have saved us a lot of time and stress. Our online course, Creating a Tech-Healthy Family, is the result of all of that worry and research, so now you can worry less and connect more with your kids. Click here to learn more.

Family Blackout Night Help

We are huge fans of Tiffany Shlain’s latest book, 24/6: The Power of Unplugging One Day a Week. Shlain is Jewish and honors the traditional Jewish Sabbath of Shabbat by doing a Tech Shabbat where she and her family take a 24-hour break from tech from sundown on Friday through Saturday evening. So inspiring! We do our own version of a tech break on our Sabbath. Click here to check out 24/6 on Amazon.

After we had brainstormed our family blackout night, we discovered a new book with a similar theme! 30 Day Blackout: How to help your kids turn off the screen and turn to their family written by Stacy Jagger, a family therapist, is inspiring! If your family needs a deeper reset, you might want to try a longer break from tech. Her book will inspire you and help you know how to make that happen. Click here to find it on Amazon.
